This database is somewhat outdated, some of the questions have been modified on the actual exam. Good for rote memorization, I went through every section on study mode once and got an 85 the same day. Terrible for actually understanding the concepts, the reasons the app gives for the answers are the same as the answer itself sometimes.
Nice app you can get all information you need to do an excellent first officer test.
A lot of the explanations for the questions are the answer itself, not very useful. This app has issues with saving study tests. You can "save" a test you start, but when reloading the app, "resume test" is missing half the time and all your work is gone forcing you to start over.
Won't stop crashing when trying to review practice exam answers.
Even after the update the database of questions is still outdated. None of the questions were on the actual test.
great app to prep for written, I like the study features where the questions have explanations and refrence.
Remembered all the questions and answers but when I took the test, only about 20 questions were word for word and the rest were worded differently.
needs to get 2019 update
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product. I just took the Commercial Airplane written test and most of the questions I was asked weren't in this app. Of the ones that were at least similar, most had been rewritten so that the answers were different. Even the diagrams in the test supplement were different, and those are public information. I recommend going elsewhere for your test prep. Shepard worked great for my Instrument written. I wish I hadn't cheaped out on this one.
